The Tower Workout is the root of Towermax.Fitness and it’s been in since 2017. You work out on top of a tower, which gets higher with your good performance. There are targets to hit and objects to avoid. You need to have experience in shadow boxing and workout training. It is not easily suitable for beginners, and it can be very intensive. But the tower has an easy mode, with it’s beginner-friendly!
Workout with the Tower
The basic elements are cross, hook, and uppercut punches, kicks (Temporarily unavailable), squats, steps, running, dodge, and other movements. There are targets to hit and objects to avoid.
The Tower Workout is rhythm-based. It’s a full-body workout, especially with feet trackers (Temporarily unavailable). You have a balanced endurance and cardio workout with a selected moderate sound option. You have a highly intense and hard workout with a selected hard sound option. You can also mix it up and turn it into high-intensity interval training. As a member, you can create your own timers. Depending on what kind of hard tracks are played, you have an insanity workout. It’s designed to exercise your rhythm and style of workout tower exercises. You can use it to lose weight, improve and strengthen yourself or just for a good VR workout time. Use the tower to enhance your boxing combo skills and endurance.
The basic workout input is boxing and you can also kick if you have HTC Vive Tracker (Temporarily unavailable). It is more geared towards martial artists, a great addition to the shadow boxing workout. Suppose you have the side targets enabled, you get a better ab workout. The elements and the tracks are selected randomly, with no repetitive processes. You always have a new one for your Power Tower Workout Routine.
As a member, you can create a tracklist and save and load your settings. You can see your statistic, how many calories you burn (with a heartrate sensor connected ), how many hits you did, how much you’ve been hit, and more.
There are various settings to adapt to your needs. At first, it is a bit complicated, but afterward, it is very easy to use.

Put on your VR headset and go to your VR Workout Tower!
Important: VR-headset (Meta (Oculus) Quest 2, HTC Headsets, Oculus Rift, Valve Index) and a WebVR/WebXR supported Browser required (Meta Quest Browser, Firefox Reality,for computer VR the Firefox Browser )
Firefox: Set Permission Autoplay – Allow Audio and Video!
Kick-Mode (HTC Tracker)works only in Supermedium and with the WebVR Version!
What you have to do
FIST & HEAD SETTINGS
Place your fists with your controller. Click on “SET FIST”, then the left fist appears in front of you. Position your controller in the desired position. Press the trigger of the right controller. When you release it, the fist is fixed on both hands according to the position.
Click on “SET HEAD”, then your head height will be adjusted.
If you logged in as a member the settings will be saved and loaded on the next login.
It‘s recommended to set the positions of the targets.
Click show and hide for appearing and disappearing the targets. Distance, range, and altitude can be adjusted by clicking on the bars.
Sound Style: You can choose the type of sounds to be played or the random selection.
- Random: Random choice between moderate and hard sound.
- Moderate: Only moderate sound.
- Hard: Only hard sound.
Target Combo: You can set the difficulty level of the combos or the random selection.
- 2 Combo: Only 1-2 Combo (recommended).
- Random: Random selection between 1-2, 1-2-3 or 1-2-3-4.
- 4 Combo: Combo Only 1-2-3-4 Combo (difficult).
Easy Mode: Full disables all difficult objects, helping some of the difficult ones. When off, all objects are used.
Rhythm Speed: You can choose the interval speed of the appearance of the targets.
- Slow: 50% of normal speed.
- Medium: 75% of normal speed.
- Normal: 100% of normal speed.
Side Target Disabled: The side targets will be disabled, and only the front and side obliques will appear.
- Random: A random environment will be created. You can click the button multiple times to create a different environment.
- Sunrise: It’s a similar environment to random, but there will be a sunrise.
- Sunset: It’s a similar environment to random, but there will be a Sunset.
- Light Show: A kind of light show that will be animated to the sound.
- Warp Travel: You will find yourself in a kind of warp tunnel. Attention, it can cause balance disorders and dizziness in sensitive people!
- Earth Flight: You are in space and you fly around the earth.
Start the Workout
When you are ready, click Start Workout or Start it to start the tower, and your workout will begin.
The targets are shown by the colors orange (left fist) and blue (right fist).
You can only hit the targets with the correct fist.
The number on the targets will show you the order of the combo.
There are targets to hit by cross, uppercut, and hook punches.
The targets are just as a reference. Use your rhythm, your movements, your technique!
In front of you, you will see a display that indicates at which position the targets appear.
Each hit will let the tower get a bit higher.
By dodging and sidestepping you will be prevented to be hit by the yellow objects.
If you have been hit by an object, the tower will get a bit smaller again.
There are sequences where you can run/step or do other moves also when standing. There will appear flying particles.
At the end of your workout, deactivate the tower. It only works if the tower is at least 10 meters high!
The tower will shut down and you will see all the played track during your workout, so you can visit the track webpage for more information!
It‘s only necessary for the end statistic (Member), but a little end experience.
You can make the menu console (during a workout) appear by pressing the trigger four times in quick succession (within 2 seconds). The menu button works too, except for the Meta Quest! With Meta Quest press the thumbstick.

- Punch Line: You can activate a punch line. This shows your punch movement. It may affect game performance a bit.
- Punch Effect: You can toggle the punch effect on and off. The effect appears when you hit the targets.
- Hit Effect: You can toggle the punch effect on and off. The effect appears when you get hit by objects.
- Tower Move Classic: When the Tower Move Classic is activated, the tower rises or falls with every hit or hit. Otherwise, the tower only increases before each new track.
Are you fit enough? Accept the challenge and reach 50 meters tower height in 50 minutes.
